A high school graduation is an important transition point for students. Reaching this point is akin to reaching the zenith of a mountain. The long journey taken to fulfill the board of education’s graduation requirements deserves recognition and praise. Accordingly, this ceremony was carefully organized and conducted in a formal fashion.

The Oxford School, Dubai, saw 65 of its graduates marching in a ceremony on 30th April . There is no greater recognition of a graduate’s achievements than a high school graduation ceremony, or commencement. Students typically wore a cap and gown to symbolize school pride.

Certificates were “conferred” to the graduating seniors and the speakers selected for this event included community dignitaries and students. A push for ambition and unfailing optimism were common themes meant to motivate graduates and reassure them about life post-graduation.
