Pinkathon - a walk to promote awareness of Breast Cancer

Home / Student Activity Blogs / Pinkathon – A walk to promote awareness of Breast Cancer

More than 70 participants from The Oxford School, which included students and teachers met up at Zabeel Park for the ‘Safe and Sound Pinkathon – A walk to promote awareness of Breast Cancer.’ The park had ample parking space and did not disturb the regular traffic. The crowd was large and the day was cool. Students had come from various parts of Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. They carried the school flag and walked with much pride for a very worthy cause. The hosts at the campaign, announced our school’s name as we walked by holding our heads high with pride. Our young students contributed towards promoting awareness of Breast Cancer through monetary funds as well. The funds collected during the walk were used for Cancer Research and Support for Cancer Patients.

Thanking all who attended the walk. We appreciate your support in promoting our initiatives.

Best regards,

Mahesh Sajnani, Head of Student Welfare at The Oxford School.
