The whole art of teaching is only the art of awakening the natural curiosity of young minds for the purpose of satisfying it afterwards.”

The teach in day at Oxford school on 12th February, 2015 proved to be a pleasurable experience for the sixth formers. Students assumed the role of teachers and showed the teachers what they had gained in order to honour their teachers. The students of the Sixth Form were chosen to prepare for respective teacher roles.  Preparations began a week ago with the students selected to play teachers meeting their real role models and getting updated with the syllabus and the timetable so that they could take the different classes. 12th of February started with a special assembly where the Sixth Form students appreciated and showed gratitude to their teachers providing them with hand-made wristbands each of different colour to signify that each of their teacher is unique in his or her own way. The students lived upto the expectations of the teachers and did them proud. The students said the day had begun on an easy and enjoyable note, but then towards the afternoon they realized how tough it was to be a teacher. This day gave the students a chance to express love and respect to their teachers. And both students and teachers took pleasure in the event with equal interest. It gave them a chance to come nearer to each other and have a very strong connection.
